1. Introduction to Plasma Ball Milling
The plasma ball mill introduces cold-field discharge plasma into mechanical vibration ball milling, utilizing the synergistic effect of high-energy non-equilibrium plasma formed by near-atmospheric pressure gas in the milling jar and mechanical ball milling. Under the influence of non-thermal plasma within the sealed milling jar system, material molecules readily transform into atomic and excited states for recombination, promoting powder refinement, alloying, activation, chemical reactions, and accelerating in-situ gas-solid phase reactions. This significantly improves milling efficiency, substantially reduces milling contamination, and forms unique structures that significantly enhance material properties.
The complete technical solution for this equipment has been submitted for PCT international patents in the United States, Japan, and European member states, and has been sold to over 100 universities, research institutes, and enterprises nationwide, including 10 academician teams and over 100 research teams.
